Olivier instruments are built from scratch. Tonewood selection, bracing, tap tuning, binding, rosette, purfling and final setup are treated as parts of one acoustic system—not isolated decorative steps.
Our cuatro work pairs Blue Mahoe back and sides with European spruce soundboards and traditional tap-tuning. The objective is never simply to build an attractive object. It is to create an instrument that becomes more personal as it is played.
